StudioToolsRecording state, MIDI & HUI
StudioTools doesn't plug into your DAW's internals. It listens the way a hardware controller does — over MIDI — and turns what it hears into one simple thing: the recording state.
The four recording states
- Recording
- The DAW is recording.
- Armed
- One or more tracks are record-enabled, but the DAW isn't recording.
- Playing
- The DAW is playing back.
- Idle
- Nothing is happening.
